Announcements:

  • State testing begins next Tuesday, May 7.  Please be sure to read this letter as it includes important details for students in third-sixth grade.  We will have a school-wide Spirit Day on Monday, May 6, to help third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade scholars “gear” up for state testing.  All students are encouraged to wear their favorite sports attire as they gear up to give the MAP test their best shot.
  • Our last Parent Advisory Committee Meeting of this school year  will be Thursday, May 16, from 5:30-6:30PM.  Childcare is provided, but we ask that you RSVP so that we can plan accordingly.
  • Students will be performing this Saturday, May 4th at AFIA for the BAM recital at 11 AM and 1 PM. Students will also perform Friday at 9 AM.
  • The Marlborough Community Coalition is having their Annual Youth Arts Fest this Saturday from 11 – 5PM. Some AFIA students have submitted art for the Arts Fest. This is a family, fun event with music, art and games and it is free!
  • As we wrap up the school year, please return all library books by Friday, May 17.
