Enrollment is free and open for all students who live within the KCPS district boundaries. The enrollment application is currently open for the 2024-2025 school year. Sign up for a tour here!

Enrollment information
The easy 8-question application allows you to apply to Academy for Integrated Arts in less than 5 minutes and makes applying to schools easier, more accessible and more transparent.
Apply and Enroll: Important Dates
- Submit your application by March 1, 2024.
- Lottery will be held on March 5, 2024. Through the lottery, students are randomly selected to receive an offer of admission.
- Receive an offer on March 7, 2024 by 4 PM. If we receive more applications than available seats, some students will be placed on the waitlist as determined by the lottery.
- Priority in the lottery is given to students of staff members and siblings of currently enrolled students.
- Let us know you’re coming by March 15, 2024 and begin enrollment.
Note: If we do not have space, you may choose to remain on our waitlist.

We believe that making applying to schools more equitable and accessible for all families is an important part of making sure all families in Kansas City have the greatest access to high quality education for their children.

Who is eligible?
■ Any students pre-kindergarten through 6th Grade
■ Student must live within the Kansas City Public School District boundaries
■ Pre-kindergarten students must be 4 years old before August 1, 2024
■ Transitional kindergarten students must be 5 years old before October 1, 2024
■ Kindergarten students must be 5 years old before August 1, 2024
