Announcements:

  • As a friendly reminder, there is no school this Friday, October 25 as this is a professional development day for our staff.  (2019-2020 School Calendar)
  • It was great to see everyone at fall conferences.  We recognize the value of family-school partnership and this is why we aim to have 100% participation in fall conferences.  Thank you for your continuous support and partnership.
  • Our annual Fall Party and Parade is scheduled for next Wednesday, October 30.  A letter with additional details about this celebration was sent home with your scholar on Monday.
  • Earlier this week your child brought home a letter about upcoming Sunflower House presentations.  Some letters did not have a permission slip attached, so yesterday additional permission slips were sent home.  If you did not receive the letter or permission slip, please contact your child’s teacher know via SeeSaw.  Please return your permission slips by this Monday, October 28, otherwise your student cannot participate in this important learning experience.
  • Lifetouch has had some technical errors with printing the picture proofs.  They are working to correct that issue.  As a result, picture retake day has been moved to November 11.
  • We’re so happy to welcome Mrs. Dorothy back from maternity leave.  Check out her fall newsletter to see what’s been happening in visual arts class since her return.
