PK/Kindergarten Scholars enjoyed their field trip to the Nelson Atkins Museum this week.

Announcements:
-Yearbook photo proofs were sent home with students today. Ordering directions are included with the proofs. Order forms and payment must be returned by 2/8/19. If you have not received your child’s proofs, please contact their classroom teacher. Picture retakes are scheduled for Friday, January 25.
-Big Smiles Dental Program will be at AFIA on Friday, February 1, 2019. On Tuesday students brought home paperwork to sign-up for dental services. If you need another form or have any questions, please email Ms. Miller (arica.miller@afiakc.org) or call the front office.
-Please continue to remind your friends and family that we are currently accepting 2018-2019 applications for NEW STUDENTS. More information is available at https://schoolappkc.org. We are hosting an Open House for new families on January 26 from 10AM-1PM. Please help us spread the word.
-Current students will receive re-enrollment information later this month.                                                                              -Mark your calendars for Arts Integration Family Night/Open House on Thursday, February 7, from 5:30PM-7PM.  More details coming soon.
