Family Focus Groups

Inquiry, asking questions and seeking answers that inform our understanding, is at the heart of our instructional model at AFIA. We hold various focus groups each year to gain insight from our families and we’re planning an upcoming focus group to gather your feedback. The purpose of this focus group is to provide an opportunity for families to share how we can:

  1. best partner with families to ensure that they feel valued in our school community
  2. ensure all children are able to thrive at school and feel a sense of belonging

Please use this form to sign up for a focus group. We are offering both onsite and virtual focus group meetings. Please sign up by this Monday, April 18th. We’d love to hear from you!

Feedback on Masks

Based on feedback from families, we are considering moving forward with “masks optional” at AFIA. We’ve had no covid cases in our school for a few weeks and the case count has decreased significantly in KC. Please share your feedback using this link. We appreciate your feedback and will announce a final decision within the next week.

We are happy that Sunflower House will be coming to AFIA.
