Dear Families,

Thank you for attending your child’s parent teacher conference. We appreciate the opportunity to discuss your child’s strengths and collaborate with you to set goals for future learning. Please read on to learn about other ways you can play a role in our school community:

  • We are conducting a parent survey to help us understand how everyone (students, parents, and staff) feels about our school. We have multiple computers set up around the school so you can complete the survey while you’re here for conferences. After completing the survey, please stop by the office to enter into a raffle for a Quik Trip gift card.
  • I hope you’ll consider getting involved with the Parent Advisory Committee. The Parent Advisory Committee meets monthly to support and enhance the programming at AFIA. Committee members are instrumental in facilitating our Celebrations of Learning, Grandparent’s Day and other special programs. We invite you to attend our first Parent Advisory Committee meeting on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at 6PM.
  • Please mark your calendars for our annual Celebration of Learning on the evening of Tuesday, November 22, 2016. We look forward to this time to celebrate and showcase all of the wonderful things your students are learning.
