No School Tomorrow (Professional Development Day)

As a reminder, there is no school tomorrow, Friday, September 17th as this is a professional development day for our staff. 

Big Smiles Dental Services @ AFIA

We work with Big Smiles Dental to provide free dental services to AFIA students.  The dentist will be here on October 18-21th. If  you would like your child to see the dentist, please complete and return the Big Smiles form that was sent home two weeks ago. You can also complete an online form at https://www.myschooldentist.com/AFAFMO_schsrm. Forms must be received by October 4, 2021 in order for your child to participate. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Daniels, AFIA’s Social Worker, at (816) 444-1720. 

Seesaw

Our school uses a communication platform called Seesaw as a primary means of communication with families. Teachers use Seesaw to send important messages and reminders. Additionally, students can add work to Seesaw to share their learning with you. If you used Seesaw at AFIA last year, you will be automatically connected to your child(ren)’s new teacher via Seesaw. New families: Your child’s teacher will send you instructions via email for activating your Seesaw account. Please look for this email Friday afternoon.
