The end of the 2020 school year was different to say the least. One thing that did not change however, was the students’ passion for art-making. Amidst all the logging in, uploading, downloading, and submitting, the AFIA community found plenty of ways to get hands-on and creative. AFIA scholars engaged in activities that challenged them to explore the world in different ways, but it was easy to see that they are not strangers to creativity and the arts. From mythological creatures, miniature cities, nature collages, self-portraits, recreations, and paintings, the scholars showed their skills. Below are some examples of the artworks the students created from home.

I posted an art imitation challenge and Jamison, 3rd grade, got creative!
