A few reminders for our last few days:

Today’s Classes: As a reminder, there is no live instruction today as we are in the process of collecting devices. Students were sent home with work packets to complete today. 

Summer Learning Packets: We’ve made a few changes to the distribution of Summer Learning Packets. If you would like your child to receive a Summer Learning Packet, please complete this form and we will send it home with your student on Tuesday, June 1.  These activities will help you child continue to practice essential math and literacy skills throughout the summer. 

Device Return & Scholastic Book Fair: If you are returning your device today, we hope that your student can also attend so they are able to participate in the Scholastic Book Fair. Through the generosity of the Scripps Howard Foundation, all AFIA students are able to select three books at no cost.  We ask that you contact the school if you are unable to return your device by 4PM today. 

Monday, May 31: There are no classes on Monday, May 31, in honor of Memorial Day. 

Tuesday, June 1: Tuesday is Field Day and also the last day of school. Please note that we have an early lunch and dismiss at noon on the last day. In order to properly social distance, we are unable to accommodate additional guests or visitors for Field Day this year. 

Thank you for a wonderful year. Despite the many challenges, we appreciate the way we’ve been able to work together to support the students and school. We look forward to being together again in the upcoming school year. Our first day of school is August 18, 2021.
