Asha Moore | Assistant Principal

Asha received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education through the Institute for Urban Education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and her master’s degree in educational administration from UMKC as well. Asha has a passion for educating the whole child and supporting students with the tools they need to be successful. Prior to becoming the Dean of Students, she taught in the Hickman Mills School District for five years and at AFIA for four. When she is not at AFIA, she enjoys spending time with her husband Mark, son Mark III, and daughter Arie; hanging out with family and friends; traveling; and participating in service projects with her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
