We are busy preparing for the end of the school year and will soon share more information about picking up report cards and materials. The end of the year is always bittersweet, but this year it will be unusually hard to say “See you next year!” It is important to us that we bring a sense of closure to the school year and help them reflect on, and celebrate, their growth. We’re making plans to modify two important end-of-the-year traditions so that we can celebrate together in a virtual setting. We hope you will join us at the Sixth Grade Send-Off ceremony on Friday, May 22. Please see the invitation for details. We are also finalizing plans for a virtual Celebration of Learning on Tuesday, May 26, and will send more information next week.
Summer Meal Distribution: Thank you for your responses to the summer school interest survey. If you have not responded, please do so by Friday, May 15. Please note that we will continue to distribute school breakfasts and lunches throughout the summer.
Annual Review Meeting: Thank you to the families who shared their time and feedback at Tuesday’s parent meeting. We are grateful for our strong partnerships with families and always appreciate your insight.
Enrichment Newsletters: Please check out the latest newsletters from our enrichment classroom: Art/Music and LACES/PE. And speaking of enrichment classes . . . our last Harambee is this Friday and the enrichment team will be making a special appearance. We hope to see you this Friday at 3:15PM.
