Announcements:

  • Conferences are the week of February 10-14.  Sign-up sheets will be sent home next Monday, February 3. During these conferences we will discuss first semester academic and social-emotional growth, share first semester report cards and collaboratively set goals for the remainder of the year.
  • We are currently enrolling NEW students for the 2020-2021 school year.  Please share this information with your friends and family who may be interested in learning more.  Interested families can sign up for a tour at https://afiakc.org/enrollment/#TOUR.  The 2020-2021 enrollment deadline for new students is March 2, 2020.  Current families will receive information about re-enrollment in February.
  • Please remember that every minute counts for student attendance. Being tardy means that your child is missing out on Morning Meeting, a critical time for connection and community building with their classmates. Students dropped off after 9:00AM must be escorted into the school and signed in by a parent/guardian. We appreciate your support in meeting our attendance goal (90% of students attending school at least 90% of the time). Most AFIA students have incredibly strong and consistent attendance; thank you for your commitment to academic excellence!
