Dorothy Miller | Visual arts teacher

Dorothy teaches visual arts at AFIA. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kansas City Art Institute with a focus in fiber arts. Dorothy earned her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, and her art education certification from University of Missouri-Kansas City. She looks for the unique, beautiful, and artful qualities found in all aspects of life. When she is not teaching or creating art, Dorothy enjoys being outdoors, riding bikes, baking, sewing, and spending time with her husband children.
